The Letter You'll Never Send

The Letter You'll Never Send is a solo letter-writing game designed to be played in a single session.

To play, you need:

• A pen
• A single sheet of paper
• Four 6-sided dice
• An hour alone

You will write your letter. You will make edits to your letter. You will not send it.

Decisions A set of tables define who you are, what you know, who you are writing to and what your letter will contain. You will roll all your dice at once and decide which result corresponds to which table.

Collisions Guided by an outline with simple prompts, you will write your four-paragraph letter.

Revisions You will roll your dice again to generate instructions for editing each paragraph. Rewrite sentences, add and remove words, change meanings.

Excisions You will not send your letter.
