Princess in a Magic Tower

To a passerby, it might seem like no one lives in the tower at all. It is tall and crooked, with cracked plaster and crumbling stone, and no entry that any curious individual can find, no matter how much of their afternoon they may dedicate to looking. But in the window above, one can sometimes catch sight of the princess who has spent many days there. She yearns more than ever for the freedom to choose her fate. She is tired of waiting for someone else to set her free.

Princess in a Magic Tower is an adaptation of the fairy tale Rapunzel, and draws inspiration from other damsel-in-distress tales. In it, you play a princess in a tower who explores the space of her own volition, and who perhaps finds a way to rescue herself, whatever that looks like to her. 

To play this game, you need: 

• a tarot deck that feels right to you
• a pair of coins to throw as needed 
• a way to record the unfolding story
