Old friend, Unfamiliar face

Old friend, Unfamiliar face is a 1 Page  Solo RPG about being confronted with a doppelganger of a beloved friend and navigating the immediate conversation with them over a beverage of your choice.

Create the friend you knew dearly and confront their double. Draw Tarot Cards to determine your conversation topics, and journal how the conversation plays out. When you hold any doubt in what They are saying and who They claim to be, flip coins to determine how the conflict of ideas plays out. 

At the end of the game, decide whether or not you could still love them, even if They cannot be who you desperately want them to be. 

Inspired by the premise of The Summer Hikaru Died but honed in on the clash of emotions of trying to rationalise how your dead friend is suddenly back and slightly off.
