About This Game

**Last Days in Space** **A One Page Solo Journaling RPG**   *After spending all of your working life as a Space Janitor on board the famed luxury Solar Star Liner,* The Silver Nova*, you are now finally ready to retire and return to your home planet for a long, well\-earned and much needed rest. These are your last days in space. It's nearly time to go home.*   *Last Days in Space i*s a **quick and easy to learn solo journaling RPG ruleset**. All that you will need to play are two six\-sided dice of different colours and a means to record your character’s experiences they encounter in the days leading up to their retirement. The game **can be played in multiple ways, with the randomly rolled prompts offering a story creation experience that can be about the monotany of life, one of reflection or, in sharp contrast, be filled with one last great adventure.** The game's simple system features * A **Damage Table** to calculate damage taken to equipment and its potential risk to human life on board the solar liner. * A **Planning Table** to deterime how prepared you are for the events that unfold in last days before retirement. * An **Event Table** with 36 possible outcomes. * An **Uneventful Day Table** which features 6 mind\-numbing and monotonous tasks that need completing before your Janitor's retirement. **To play**, simply roll the dice to discover how days are left before your Janitor retires and then roll both dice for each day left. The result of this dice roll is read against the Event Table which will provide a prompt to structure what happens on that day. Some events are dramatic, others mundane, some can take the Janitor on an interstellar adventure while others might simply be cleaning the waste pipes out on Deck 4\. How the story unfolds is entirely up to you and how you interpret the rolled prompt. The game is provided as a four\-page PDF with a wraparound cover. The game can be printed on one double sided page (on either A3 or A4 paper or similar) or just the game rules and tables on one sheet of paper scaled or double\-sided. Also included, as an additional extra, is a 6x4 index card Character Sheet. |
