Hard Case

*It's always raining downtown. The streetlights flicker, cutting the world into swathes of light and shadow.* *People scurry down streets and around corners, collars up, hats down, and always looking over their shoulder* --- Hard Case is a solo noir RPG on a single page. It is the third game created using the Second Guess System first used in the One White Eye RPG and The Date. Here, the system of impending dread and self deception is instead turned to the scheming and dark dealings of a classic style noir mystery. This game also expands the system with differing game end conditions and short character and scenario setup. All you need are a d20, a d6, and something to record your journal entries on. Sometimes people surprise you.
