Four Fates: The Lovers

Love often flourishes in the face of adversity. Those forced to be apart can have the deepest of connections. Such is the case for the star-crossed lovers that you will take on the roles of in this game. Separated by circumstance, whether that’s a war, family feud or the vastness of space, able only to communicate through encoded and sporadic messages. A pair of lovers must navigate the hardships of their separation and the lives that they live far from each other’s sides, working together to navigate the events that threaten to destroy their love and hopefully come out the other side reunited and happy. Using a tarot deck to generate the scenarios and to work out the effectiveness of their efforts, the two players in this journaling RPG write messages to each other and inhabit the roles of two lovers kept apart for a reason you will decide. Will they end up together or in tragedy? Only the cards and your creativity will tell.
