*"But mum, why were you never there?"* ## Heart ♥ *Family Album* is a solo journaling game allowing players to take on the role of a parent searching through their photo album for an elusive photograph of themselves with their child. ## Diamond ◆ Based on the "Proof of Mom" concept, this game offers players the opportunity to reflect on parent\-child relationships, parenthood, childhood, emotional labour and community.  ## Club ♣ Play all in one sitting or across multiple sessions as you explore scenes depicting your fictional child's milestones, birthdays, and cultural holidays using a standard deck of cards and your imagination. ## Spade ♠ *Family Album* is inspired by the desginer's experience of parenthood but can be enjoyed by anyone (parent or not) who wants to reflect on family life through imagined photos. --- Content Warning: Family Relationships, Cultural Holidays, Grief/Loss Players are strongly encouraged to consider the impact of building a character based upon their personal life experiences.
