About This Game
Imagine a world of midnight feasts, secret notes passed in class, and whispered confessions in the dormitory after lights-out. A world of strict headmistresses, fierce rivalries on the hockey field, and friendships that feel like they'll last a lifetime.
This is a Solo Role-Playing Game about being a spirited, mischievous, and loyal girl at a classic British boarding school and designed to emulate the cosy, dramatic, and heartwarming genre of 20th century girls' boarding school fiction.
It's not a game about fighting monsters or saving the world; it’s about the small, dramatic moments of growing up—from a prank gone wrong to the simple satisfaction of winning the inter-house games.
This game uses a simple, playing-card based system to bring your stories to life, so you can focus on the fun, not the numbers. It's a game about building relationships, making tough choices, and discovering that your greatest triumph is a loyal friend.
This is a companion piece to the Blaydon Grange rpg by the same author, but whereas that game is a traditional roleplaying game for a gamesmaster and player group, Blaydon Grange Solo uses a totally revised game system especially for a single player to create and explore dynamic stories with their own unique character.
